Till now Vishal Bharadwaj in his film career proved that he did not want to be part of the crowd in Bollywood . The three film revolve around three main characters Mandola , Bijli and Matru.. TV giant says about himself, that he enjoys to change the star’s old image. In Onkara the role of Saif Ali Khan was only made poosible by the director Vishal and again now Vishal decided to present the role of Matru by the choclate boy image hero Imran Khan.

Vishal this time again while making the movie box office put no concern on the spices for sale as well ashe presented a simple love story, which served in a single message based on the current needs. He never shied away from making huge spoof on politics in his films. Ditto is Mandola. In the film, Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Sachin Pilot and Jyotiraditya Scindia , Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit all this big names are the part of his script. He does not forget the issue of the Lokpal,which in the past, brought the earthquake in the country’s politics.

Story: Businessman living in a small village in Haryana Mandola played by Pankaj Kapoor has two forms. Before sinking in a bottle of wine he is a typical Businessman, who could do anything for the sake of his advantages. And getting drunk he became a simple farmer of Mandola village named Haria, who is sympathetic to farmers under the oppression of Mandola. Well, the dream of Mandola is to bought cheap fertile land of farmers to make their dream city, including shopping malls, Multiplexes , Cyber city etc. . In this dream of Mandola MLA Chaudhary Devi (Shabana Azmi) is with him..

Chaudhary Devi dream is CM’s chair, to fulfill this dream , she want to arrange marriage of his only son Baadal (Arya Babbar) with the only Daughter of Mandola Bijli (Anushka Sharma) and wants to acquire the wealth of the Arabs. Matru (Imran Khan) is returned to village from town after completing his study and became driver to repay the debt to his ancestors. Matru and Mandola relationship is very strange.Twist in the story is when after drunk at one night Mandola see pink buffalo standing in front of him. After examining doctor says it is a Chemical Locha but Mandola is in tension with the pink buffalo.

Acting: Mandola’s character is the essence of the film. Pakaj Kapoor are completely clued into this character. After seeing Mandola role of Pankaj Kapoor we can say that if Pankaj Kapoor didi not agreed to make the film than the film will not be possible. The other role which is remarkable in the movie is of Shabana Ajmi as Chaudhary Devi . Planks of his best performances again reminiscent of Godmother . Anushka Sharma once again in the same old style og bold and baby girl. Imran Khan became the Matru and Mao played by Imaran Khan is just doing his job.

Music: Before the film released , many songs are on the peak of popularity. As a musician Vishal job must be appreciated that the music designed completely fit to story and atmosphere in which somewhere the soil of the village (folk), and Lokdhunon is also a part of the music .
