Imposed Section 144 in the area between India Gate and Vijay Chowk for protest for 23 yrs old girl gang raped in Delhi appears ineffective.

Some Protestors punctured the bus of police who came there to carry Kajriwals’ supporters.

A group of protesters also met Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Team who meet Sonia Gandhi said that Sonia Gandhi assured that she will take a strong action for the case as soon as possible .

Students who met Sonia Gandhi refused to tell there name.

The Government has appealed to protestor to exercise restraint.

Remain Stood for the whole day

Previously, on Saturday some people with elevated noise took to the streets and were stuck on Vijay Chowk throughout the night whom the police drove on Sunday morning, and had imposed Section 144, under which people cannot gather in public places.

Government tried to stop this protest and ordered to cancelled the metros near President’s residence and prime minister’s residence.

Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde today reported that the victim’s statements is taken by Divisional Magistrate has been recorded at the Safdarjung Hospital. Victim in his statement is interpreted the complete series of events happened on 16 Dec.

Delhi Metro officials say,” the police station will be closed until further orders. Although the train at Central Secretariat will be changed.”

Earlier on Saturday, thousands of people came together in Delhi at Raisina Hills gang rape incident and fiercely opposed by concern for the safety of women.

Sonia Gandhi appeals for peace to the protesters placing there  faith in action

Began from India Gate and Vijay Chowk , the protestor reached in front of the house of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi on Saturday at night.

Sonia Gandhi after seeing the slogans of demonstrators behind 10 Janpath ,came out to meet people and appealed to people to maintain peace.

Sonia Gandhi spoke for about 15 minutes with the protesters and assured them that strict action would be taken at all.

But protesters was not satisfied with Sonia Gandhi’s response when they asked within  how many days the strict action will be taken.

Sonia Gandhi does not answer about the time limit for the action to be taken and told the protesters for being calm and went back.

Even the Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said that he also has three daughters, and he understand the seriousness of the case. The Home Minister said that he himself personally keep an eye on this matter.

The Commission will suggest measures to improve women’s security in the capital.
